Very simple model but perfect for home user or home office. I use this model to print pictures and they look great. I have made photo albums and photo calendars as gifts printing pictures from my digital camera or computer using this printer. The cartridges are easy to change and are affordable. The paper tray doesn't hold a huge amount of paper but it is easy to refill and for a smaller model typically you don't need to have a huge tray either for just home use. The prints are good quality and the speed is pretty fast. I have had many photo, ink printers and most have worn out or not produce the best quality but I love the results of the Canon. It is small and compact and takes up less desk room. It only takes a black and a tri-color cartridge and there are compatibles avaliable for even more savings.
