Color Oops! Hair Color Remover By Phoebe on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I am a natural blonde, and decided one day to go dark - a reddish brown color. Many shades darker than my natural color. While I loved it, I decided to go back to my roots (ha ha) and get blonde again.

I did not want to have to wait months while dying my hair lighter and lighter shades, nor did I want to fry all my hair off. I saw Color Oops at Walgreens, and with the gentle list of ingredients, it seemed like it was worth a try.

This product is WELL worth the money! It does smell pretty strong, but as you can see from the pictures I uploaded, it really took the brown out, and left my hair soft and ready to go! There was no drying or other adverse effects from the color removal.

The box contains 2 bottles, an application tip, instructions and gloves. You mix the two bottles together, apply, and leave on for a max of 20 minutes. I did the entire 20 minutes.

You then rinse, shampoo, and rinse for a full 5 minutes (I am assuming to ensure all product is removed). They they recommend you shampoo again, rinse another 5 minutes, add conditioner, rinse, and you're done!

It is a longer process with all the rinsing, but I have been very happy with the results and would recommend this to anyone looking to remove hair color either due to a bad coloring, or just tired of their current look. It does mention your hair will be ready to dye the same day, but I have not done this, I left it as is.
