Reviewing: Tetrosyl Color Match Real Paint In A Pen
Purchased at: Ace Hardware

I am normally a safe driver but has wrong calculation on my right side (not when I am driving, but when I am parking) that I scratched my SUV twice already in a year. Would you believe? I scratched the SUV on the right side at our electronic gate and always on the right side.

So, for fear that my husband might find out and never let me drive again, I went to Ace Hardware and searched for those spray paints that you use to cover scratches on your vehicles. I did not find the right color on the spray kind but found a better solution which I thought was more precise than using a spray can on your vehicle. Using spray can which is pressurized would probably make it all worse because instead of covering a small area of the scratch, you might accidentally spray on the good areas too. This Tetrosyl Color Match Real Paint in a Pen is the kind of quick solution I was looking for to cover up the evidence. LOL!

The paint pen looks like any ordinary permanent marking pen but the colors vary in gradiants. I found a near color that almost matched my Greenish Aqua SUV's color. Application was quite easy. I just had to ensure that the scratch I wanted to cover is clean and free of any dust or grease. The pen has to be shaken first before you apply and by pressing the felt tip, paint oozes on the surface. It was also possible for me to put another application to darken the first layer simply by letting the first coating dry and re-applying again.

The components of the paint was not indicated on the pen but it did indicatethat it contains butyl acetate. This is also flammable so caution is required.

Well, the trick worked for some time until I had to 'fess up to my "crime." I know my conscience wouldn't let me get away with it.

We were given pens like these for both our vehicles when we purchased them - the only thing we've had to use them for is touching up stone chips and they do work great - match the paint quite nicely and very little tell tale sign you've used them....thanks for the info and good luck with that fence ;)
