Wow, things sure have changed since I was a kid. AND, they have definitely changed for the easier!! The Crayola Color Wonder coloring books are amazing. The coloring book comes in a pack with special markers to be used only with the Color Wonder Paper. What makes the Color Wonder markers so amazing? They only write on the Color Wonder paper. No more marks on the furniture or clothes. It's great!!
For Christmas last year, I bought my daughter the Disney Princess coloring book with marker set. The coloring book has 24 pages of different princesses and characters from Disney movies. The markers come in a set of 6 different colors. While the markers appear clear from their tips, they mark on the paper the color of the lid.
The best way to describe the colors of the markers is to say that it reminds me of watercolors. I wouldn't buy this product for a child who is hoping to be creative on their own, but it is great for children who just like to color. The best thing is that it is easy to take with you. My daughter loves to sit and color her coloring book while we are at soccer games. I don't have to worry about her marking up her clothes or leaving with marker colors all over her skin.
This is a great "mess free" coloring book and marker set for young children. The markers do not appear to dry out quickly . We have had this particular set of markers for 10 months and they still work fine. I highly recommend this product for young children.

I think this is simply a great idea. Kudos to Crayola for creating a mess free marker for small children.
We really love the color wonder markers too - but it's true that you can't really be too creative on your own since there are pre-stamped white areas on the paper that show up when the marker goes over them...
These books are perfect for my kids who like to color a lot. Thew won't be able to color anywhere except the books.We use to have graffiti on the walls,books,newspaper etc.
