Comerica Park Detroit, Michigan By FrankV on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Comerica Park is located in Detroit, Michigan. It's home to my Detroit Tigers Baseball team. It's located nearby the Ford Field Stadium. It sits in the middle of a little village of shops, businesses and restaurants.

As I walked to the entrance of the stadium, I was impress by the huge tiger statue. I had to take a picture of it! There are also stainless steel statues of famous Tiger players like Ty Cobb, Charlie Gehringer, Hank Greenberg, Willie Horton, Al Kaline and Hal Newhouser.

One feature my family really loved was the ferris wheel over by 3rd base. It is 50ft tall and the seats are shaped like baseballs. The other thing that is great for families is the carousel with it's tiger seats. That was really cool for the kids.

I would highly recommend Comerica Park if you are ever in Detroit, Michigan. It is a great place to take your family for a day of baseball and fun.

this would be a great delight to go to a tigers baseball game as i've never been to a pro baseball game or any pro sport game for that matter. also the nearby attractions you mentioned look good as well.
