Comet Cleaner The Tried And True By Gail Ikerd on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Good old Comet Cleaner! It's been around forever, my mom used to use it. I had a stain on my kitchen counter and had tried another cleaner in a spray bottle. Phew! Not only did it stink something awful it didn't remove the grape juice stain. I really wanted to get that stain off my counter so I looked under the sink and way in the back there all alone and almost forget was a bottle of Comet. I thought - why not, it sure can't make the stain any worse. I wet the counter down with some water and dumped on the Comet. I let it sit for a few minute before wiping it up with a damp paper towel. Was I surprised - the stain was complety gone. I don't like smelly cleansers and Comet doesn't stink. I will be sure to place Comet on my list of shopping staples. Sometimes there just isn't anything the tried and true. I give Comet my kudos.
