I have finally found my favorite socks! These are short socks, which I found hanging under the label "trouser socks". I bought black ones to go with the shoes I wear to work everyday, but they did come in white also.
The socks are called "Comfort Top", and though I have bought socks with labels making the same claim before, this time I was not disappointed. I need a non-binding top edge on my socks because sometimes one of my ankles swells badly due to a previous injury. These socks are very comfortable and never bind.
My socks are made in the USA which, to me, is a bonus. The yarns used ar 73% cotton, 25% nylon, and 2% spandex. These were a great find at Nordstrom Rack at $5.99 for a 3-pack, as they were originally $15.00. I've gone back twice now to buy more so that I have a good supply. Hopefully, I 'll be able to find them again once this supply wears out!

I prefer the bigger ones although these were popular in high school because guys would ridicule people who wear long socks.
