Comfortable Contact Lenses By uaezarb on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have worn contacts for a long time and I just recently switched to the Acuvue Advance with hydraclear lenses. They are so comfortable. I think they are the best lenses I have worn so far. They are made to keep the lenses moist all day, and they do. I even notice when I wake up in the morning they don't feel dry, like some of the other lenses I have worn. These are daily wear lenses that should be replaced every two weeks. I wear them while sleeping, but sometimes I take them out at night to give my eyes a rest. Even though they are only to be used for only two weeks at a time, they are still very durable. I don't notice any difference in these from the lenses that I had before that needed to be removed every night.

I ordered a year's supply for the best deal on price. Each box contains 6 lenses and cost $24.99 per box. The total cost for the year's supply was around $200, but there was a rebate for $30 and LensCrafters where I purchased them gave me another $10 off. My insurance covered another $60. So I only ended up paying around $100.

I've heard that these contacts are much more comfortable and non irritating. You got a very good buy with the discounts and your insurance. It makes sense to get the years supply.
