It is very easy to get hold of a Commonwealth Bank Credit Card. All I had to do was apply online, and within 2 weeks I got the card in the mail. Activation was a simple process of ringing the bank and activating it. Within minutes of receiving the card I could start making payments. I have already made several instant online payments with the card, and many other payments such as fuel and car services etc. The card has many security features such as Enhanced Security Chip Protection and Secure Online Shopping (SIS), giving added protection fraudulent use of the credit card. There are 6 different types of credit cards, including one that has no annual fee but a high interest rate. The card I have is a Low Fee Credit Card - with an annual fee of $24 and 55 days interest free on all purchases.

Overall it is a decent credit card. Obviously not the best credit card as it is from a bank, but for a quick, simple solution for easy online purchasing and use with paypal, it is a great option for those living in Australia.
