Compact and Nice - Sony CD Walkman
By Karen onI am reviewing the Sony CD Walkman, bought at Walmart for approximately $29.99.This is truly a portable player, about the size of a CD.It is so compact that it can go anywhere. The player works on batteries (two AAs) or AC adapter. There are headphones as well. The CD Walkman also has a G-Protection function which helps to prevent skipping during activity. There is a repeat function, and the CD player can be programmed to play up to 64 tracks in whatever order I choose. The shuffle function allows me to play tracks in random order. This player has great sound for such a small unit.I get true stereo quality through my headphones, and the player is also equipped with AVLS (Automatic Volume Limiter System) which keeps the maximum volume down so that my hearing is protected. This is a nice little unit with great sound and some good features. It also has a limited 90 day warranty.

Sounds like a great CD player for cheap money.
Sounds like this works for you. thanks for sharing
Great alternative to the ipod, which is really expensive. Thanks for the great information.
The volume limiter is a nice feature. I always worry about hearing loss with my kids especially.
For the money, it sounds great. I especially appreciate the models that have volume limiting functions so that I don't end up hard of hearing some day
I think my husband has this & if it is the same model, he really enjos it & likes how compact it is! You got a great deal on your's!'
Sounds like this one is pretty nice for that price. I love the features. I have never been lucky enough to find one that doesn't skip though. That has always been a problem for me. Glad this one works for you!
Perfect for $29.99! It plays well without skipping, plenty of room to preload music and nicely sized housing. What more could you ask for?
This sounds like it is really affordable for all that it features. 29.99 is a great price and I love that it is so darn compact!
With all the craze about mp3 players lately you often forget that there are still CD walkmans on the market. :o) This sounds like a good one at a really good price. I like that it limits the audio and protects your ears. I think everyone forgets how sensative their ears are when it comes to using walkmans and mp3 players.
