Compact Bypass Pruner By uaezarb on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I love these compact bypass pruners, especially for cutting flowers for bouquets. I also use them to trim my houseplants. They are small enough, only around 6" long and light enough that I keep them in my pocket when I am gardening. They are easy to use and feel good in my hand. I can cut a lot of stems and never have my hand get tired. I also have laid them down several times and was able to find them easily because of the bright red rubber coating on the handles. They have a high-carbon steel blade, so they are really durable. My pruners have gotten a lot of use and have held up beautifully. I only use these to cut small stems, anything over 1/2" thick I use my larger pruners. They are one of my favorite gardening tools.
