Compaq V3019 Laptop

The compaq V3019 is a great notebook for college students. While not breaking the bank, it provides great looks, quality performace, and protability in a sleek black package. The laptop is extrememly quiet and comes with a choice of AMD Turion x64 or Core 2 Duo processor choice. I personally have the AMD processor and it has performed very efficiently. The dual core nature of the laptop provides multi-tasking abilities. The laptop is black all around with the outside being a high-gloss finish with an beautiful inlaid pattern. The screen size is at 14.1 inch, which is a perfect size for compact use while also provided a large enough screen for desktop use as well. The quality of the screen is above average, with the max brighteness also above average. A great strength of this laptop is that battery life, which with simple use can last almost three hours on a regular charge. The specs are a 1gb memory, 1.6ghz 512 L2 cache, 80 gb hard drive, and a 8x DVD-RW drive. Above the keyboard is an altec lansing speaker which provide adequate sound for a laptop. All in all, the great battery life and quiet and compact nature of the laptop is perfect for a college student.
