Out of all the various file compression/decompression softwares i have used winzip stands the second(after 7-zip).there are a few features in it which are even beter than 7-zip, like the speed with which it compresses/decompresses the files & folders.it gives you options to compress the data in various compression ranges. with theclick of a mouse you are able to compress & email a file/floder.most importantly it is very reliable tool as it compresses the each byte very accurately & nt for a single time i have got my data corrupted after compression.you can even secure your files by putting a password lock on them.One more feature worth mentioning is that it also supports the RAR format(extract only).
