Con Air Dvd By ArmySister on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Nicholas Cage, John Cusack, and John Malkovich outdid themselves in the movie, "Con Air." This movie is so full of action, comedy, and emotion that I am glued to it every time I watch it. It is the story of Cameron (played by Cage) who is being released from prison and taken back home via air plane. The plane is full of convicts being moved for various reasons - Cage is the only one being released. Of course as would be expected in an action movie, the convicts take over the plane in hopes of escape. Cage must pretend to still be a convict himself in hopes of finding a way to safety and his wife and daughter (the daughter he's never met).

The first half of this movie is pure action and comedy based and I literally was glued to the screen the first time I saw it in theatre. During the second half Cage begins to show the family man in himself and the power of his love for his daughter is so touching that everytime I watch this (even though I now know the ending) I am still pulling for him to make it safely through the ordeal so that he can be with his daugther. It is so touching! I almost cried in the theater the first time I saw it. The only downside I have found to the movie is that I can't watch it with my entire family as it is rated R (as it should be) so my younger daughter can't watch it.
