Conair Flat Iron By halcammom on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I purchased the Conair Flat Iron to use for my daughter. She has a little bit of a wave in her hair and she likes to wear her hair straight. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on one, so I purchased the Conair Flat Iron at Wal-mart for 14.99.

The iron has an adjustable heat setting. In order for it to work on my daughter's hair, I have to have it set on the highest setting. Beware though, the hair gets VERY hot. I section her hair off in 3 layers and then take small sections within each layer. I still have to pass the iron over her hair several times to straighten it out. It does work, it's just not real quick.

If you have just a little wave or curl in your hair, the Conair Flat Iron would probably work; however, if you have very curly hair, you'll probably want to invest in a more expensive flat iron.
