I bought this 3/4 inch Conair curling iron on vacation. My old one broke and I was looking for an inexpensive new one. It was a good price and I didn't need one that had alot of attachments or extra features. I like the fact that it has "instant" heat. It just takes a few seconds to heat up. The indicator light blinks until it is ready to use. It has a dial with 25 heat temperatures. I use the setting number 7. The placement of this feature is the thing I dislike about the curling iron. If you happen to put your hand over the dial when curling your hair, it turns either higher or lower than what you set it at. This seems to be a bad idea because it can burn your hair. I think the next time I need to buy a curling iron I will buy a Conair, but not this model.
