Conair Massaging Foot Spa

I purchased this food spa after Christmas for only $9.99.Got to love Boxing Day sales!I had been wanting one for quite some time, so I was pleased to find one that was name brand at such a good price.

This spa is a very basic model.It has an on/off switch that turns on the bubbles and the heat, and a splash guard that fits over the front of the spa.

The bubbles are very soothing for sore, tired feet.I was actually pleasantly surprised at how little time it took to make my feet feel good as new.The bubbles are focused on the arches of the feet, which feels like a relaxing massage.

The manual indicates that the heat function of this spa is not meant to heat up the water, just maintain its temperature.Honestly, this isn't so great.Water loses its heat very quickly when it is constantly bubbling and in motion, and I found that the built-in heater isn't really strong enough to keep up.After a few minutes the water is noticably cooler, and after about 20 minutes, the water has cooled enough that it makes me want to get out.

It is a little noiser than I was expecting, but then, I haven't had much experience with foot spas.It sort of sounds like an electric toothbrush, so after a while I got used to it, and don't really pay attention to it anymore.

Something I dislike about this spa is the length of the cord.Obviously, it must be plugged in to work, and that limits where you can sit when you want to use it.I would much prefer it if the cord were 2 or more feet longer than it is.

All in all, I am glad to have a way to relax my sore tired feet after a long day.For $9.99 I'm happy with it, but I would not pay the full $19.99 for this one.There are much better spas out there.
