Conair Pin Straight Wet Dry Flat Iron By babydollkowgirl on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
All my life I have battled my curly, frizzy, thick hair. It was always embarrassing for me to try to wear my hair down. With that in mind, I have gone through so many different straighteners, flat irons and blow dryers that the men in my life could have bought a new tool or two.
One depressing hair day I decided to make a trip to Target to make yet another hair straightener purchase. This sleek red straightener with pins caught my eye. It made sense to me. I also noticed it had a low to high heat setting as well as a 'wet' setting and that made my frown turn upside down. So, after 20 long minutes of debating to buy or not to buy with myself, I threw it in the cart and made my purchase.
I use this straightener every two to three days and I am still impressed with the heat consistency and temperature output. The pins comb through the curls and the frizz to help maximize the effects. The swivel cord allows me to maneuver around without getting twisted and tangled and the cool tip keeps my fingers burn free. I go from frizzy curls to sleek and straight in no time at all.
Before I bought this straightener I was prepared to spend $100-300 for a straightener that worked. I was so very desperate to find something that could tame my hair every time I used it. When I found that the Conair Pin Straight did what I wanted for a much lower price I have vowed to let everyone know how wonderfully consistent this product is.
Conair CS36 Purchased at: Target Price: $50.00

My daughter got one of these for christmas, she uses it all the time. Her hair is not frizzy but there is this one small part that curls up and drives her crazy.
My hair is think and fine so I have never had to deal with this, but I am so glad you found something that really works for you!
This straightener sounds interesting. I've never seen it, but will look it up next time I get a chance. My Chi works well for me, but cost twice as much!
Sounds like a great product for a great price. Thanks for sharing!

I wish I had your curly, frizzy, thick hair. All my life I have battled mine which can be only described as disgustingly straight. :) I guess we want what we don't have! :)
I have the exact same problem. I always get my hair flat ironed when I get it cut but have never tried it myself. I think I may have to give this straightner a try. Thanks for the information.
