Concept2 Model D Indoor Rower By Morenita on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have had the opportunity to practice on several indoor rowers over the past few years, even though I prefer training out on the water. This winter though, I desperately needed to update rowing equipment especially because I was not able to make it to the gym to use their single rowing machine as much as I wanted to.

After using the indoor rowing machine that belonged to a private rowing club I began to look at the newer Concept2 models. The older model by the club was very ergonomic and effective, but it was loud, bulky and hard to put away.

I went straight to the website for Concept2 and found the Model D Indoor Rower, it doesn't get much better than this machine. Very streamlined design, half the size of other rowers I have used, and it gave me by the second feedback on the monitor that is attached.

I get the best workout ever, and immediately know where I need to improve or work more from the information on the monitor. I did get the PM3 monitor which is sufficient, but after using it for a little while longer I think the PM4 screen is a little clearer (not worth another two hundred dollars though).

Definitely a great machine for the money.
