Reviewing: Concerta Er 54 Mg
Purchased at: N/A

My grandson who is 12 today, has been dealing with issues for 5 years. We have been to many doctors and they all said ADHD. He even went to a neurologist , out we came with the same results. Two years with a highly professional doctor of ADHD, and many different kinds of medication, still little change. Finallywe decided to start over, and found a doctor who put us on a better track. They now have classified him with Aspergers and put him on Concerta Er once aday. On this medication for alittle over a year and this has given him a new beginning. He can now work at school(A's and B's),with suppervised help. He only gets 54MG because of his weight, and it last about 12 hours because of the extended release. It should not be chewed or crushed, always swallow whole. The down fall is loss of appetite, and sleep. We are not believers in medicating our children, but he can now function in a school setting without feeling different from the other children. This is our goal for him-or we'll try whatever we can tilsomeone can come up with a better cure for these children.

Update On Apr 28, 2010: An Update: For the first time he took his medication by himself. He didn't have to be reminded ,thus this was a huge plus for him..

This month lets support these children!!

We have friends whose son of their old age had the same diagnosis. His medication has helped him tremedously.
