Connect Four By Momof2Disneyboys on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My children got the Connect Four game by Milton Bradley several years ago for a Christmas present. This game has probably gotten the most use out of all the games they have had over the years. It is for two players. I'm not sure about the age rating, it says for ages seven and up, but my children have been playing it with us since they were about four. They started playing it with our help at that age, but started playing it on their own long before age seven. The object is to connect four of your checker pieces in a row, either straight up & down, across, or diagonally. I like how it keeps the kids thinking during the game because not only are they trying to connect their four in a row, they also have to think about keeping the other player from connecting four of their checkers in a row by blocking. We play this often as a family and the kids play it often without us too.
