I have flown on may different airlines in my days and I have to say that I absolutely LOVE Continental Airlines. My favorite plane they have would be the Boeing 767. This plane is used on longer distance flights mainly.
I have flown on the smaller planes of Continental Airlines and they are great too. The seats on all the planes are more comfortable then any other plane I ave been on. They are still not the most comfortable thing in the world, but the lumbar support is actually noticeable and helpful. The leg room is also very spacious with plenty of room to stretch.
My favorite part of riding in the 767 is the personal monitor every seat has. I had a long 6 hour flight but was never bored! I watched the free movies, popular TV stations, and played video games the whole flight! You even get personal headphones you can keep or give back if you do not want them after the flight.
The food was good too. Again, not gourmet food, but much more tastier than most airlines.
If I had the choice, I would fly Continental everywhere I went. They fly out of most major airports, but are not found in many local express airports.

I've flown Continental many times myself and have to admit they are really a very good airline. As you said, the food is nothing to write home about, but the service and comfort more than make up for it.
These days I choose not to fly, but if I do ever have to I will keep Continental in mind.
We have flown Continental numerous times and have always been very pleased.
Sounds like a nice airline with the personal monitors, pretty good food, and a little more leg room! I'm sold!
I have not flown on Continental in years and I miss them. Here in Atlanta our main choices are Delta and Air Tran. I wish Continental had more flights from here, I would choose them.
I flew Continental many years ago, NWA, Delta and American kind of took over where I live. The flights for Continental are usually much, much more expensive. Too bad it sounds like they are a fairly good airline!
My father-in-law always flies Continental. I guess that's why!
I flew Continental to Israel and it was the best 12 hours on a plane I've ever experienced. I watched my own monitor, played solitare and slept well even in the "middle" seat.
This sounds like a great airline. Having moniters on the seats is an added bonus.
Its been my dream to travel abroad, and I havent till now.
