Continental Electric Toaster Oven

This is my favorite small appliance that I own. I purchased a small toaster oven because I cook alot of small meals since I live alone and am usually just cooking for myself. The toaster oven uses less electricity than a stove oven. Also during the hottest part of the summer, the heat from a large oven can really warm up a kitchen. However, the toaster oven does not put out that much heat.
The Conrinental brand is one of the less expensive brands of toaster ovens but don't let the cheap price fool you. It is indeed a great toaster oven. It can be used for toasting, baking, slow cook and defrosting. I have never defrosted anything in the oven so I am not sure how well this works. I do cook biscuits in my oven on a regular basis. It actually cooks biscuits better than the stove oven. It is also great for toast, pizza and toaster struddles.
TheContinental heats up to 450 degrees. It also has a toast and broil feature. Most importantly for me, is that it has a timer (up to 15 minutes). I will burn anything if I don't set a timer for it. It also comes with a small stainless steel tray.
