Bayshore Friends church has a great cookbook. It is filled with recipes contributed by members of this church. They have a mission which is to reach out to the community, spreading God's word. This cookbook has many facts about nutrition and calories. It also has information on the food pyramids. I like the fat fact section. There are many healthy recipes and some really good salads. I have used this cookbook alot over the years! There is an easy to look up index as well as a temperature guide for making candy! It is great for the holidays and there is a miscellaneous section that has some great tips. This cookbook includes a section on substitutions which has come in very handy! These recipes were donated to the cookbook committee of the church. It is well put together and very easy to use. I like the way the sections are organized and the wide range of recipes that are provided. I also like the fact that these recipes are easy to follow and most of them are very easy to prepare. I will keep using this wonderful cookbook and thank you to all of those who donated these fantastic recipes. I liked the microwave tip section and have used it alot. I describe this cookbook as charming! The colorful front is well designed and has a cute country character about it!
