I have a big, flip top plastic bin container for my cat's dry food, because I generally buy the 18 + pound bag and keep food on hand, always for them. Currently I use just a plastic cup to dish out portions of food. I got tired of this, so I was looking for a alternative for their food bin, and I found this great looking little scoop and decided to buy it, and say bye bye to the plastic cup and replace it. The scoop is made by Cooking Concepts, and from the tip of the handle, to the tip of the scoop section, it's 8 1/2 inches long. The scoop itself is white, and appears to be able to hold about 1 cup of dry goods. The form fitting, soft grip handle fits nicely in my hand and is really comfortable to hold. The grip also comes in 2 colors, maroon and green. I am partial to green so I chose that one.The whole scoop well made and very durable. It's also top rack dishwasher safe, so very easy to clean.

So now I have a great looking little scoop to portion out my babies food instead of a plastic cup! Now, you on the other hand, don't have to use this kitchen scoop for pet food, you can use it for sugar, flour, other baking goods, etc. The uses are only limited by your imagination. Any way you look at it, it's a very useful and great looking accessory!
