I'm a self proclaimed cook. No I'm not Gordon Ramsey or Rachael Ray...nor do I claim to be. I sometimes like to make nice dinners, but other times I like to make quick dinners to satisfy my family.
I received this Cookbook for Christmas and it is very informative and is loaded with recipes even a novice cook would not have problems with.
The book has 446 pages of information, recipes, how to slice and dice, and information for different types of food, meats. produce etc. In the back there is a cardboard glossary that allows you to look up recipes quickly and easily. The tabs are listed like cakes&Pies, Breads, appetizers, fish and meats etc.
The recipes are explained in detail and for example on Page 310, there is a recipe for Turkey Meatballs in Tangy Cranberry Sauce. Prep time is 20 minutes, cook time 25 and serving size is 4 (5 meatballs a piece). So not only do you get a great recipe, each one lists the prep, cook/bake time and serving sizes.
