I picked up a copy of Cooking with Paula Deen at my mother's house and couldn't put it down. I went home and ordered myself a subscription (Mom didn't have a subscription, or I would have just read hers every month! haha).

It's a great magazine for us Southern cooks, or those of you who are "Wannabe Southern" cooks. It has really easy recipes. My mother had made the White Texas sheet Cake from the magazine and it was "to die for" (in Paula' words). It was the best cake I've had in a LONG time. Anyhow, after Mom told me where she found the recipe, I picked up the magazine and poured through it.

It has great entertaining ideas, recipes for all occassions (including tailgating!), and even some Southern decorating! What more could you ask for in one magazine? In my humble opinion, this is right up there with Southern Living Magazine....that should say it all.
