Cooks Brand Magic Bullet Blender By Hollie Halverson on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I'm sure by now everyone has seen that TV infomercial with the Magic Bullet Blender? It's a small blender/chopper/food processor all in a small compact size but with a lot of power.

I have owned the original Magic Bullet Blender but the motor died out about 3 years into my ownership. The things are expensive ranging about $60-70.

I bought my Cooks brand on sale for $19.99. They retail is $59.99 but I see it on sale frequently for $29.99. They sell Cooks brand appliances at JC Penney and I have had pretty good luck some of their other small appliances that I have owned.

I saw the this on sale for such a great price I though I would try it out. It is very similar to the original Magic Bullet and has all the same basic attachments. I think the original Bullet did offer extra drink glasses/chopping containers, this does not have them.

There is a pretty good warranty on this if you want it. Plus you can buy replacement parts at JC Penney's web site if needed.

I do like this one as much as the original Magic Bullet with one exception. I don't think the motor is as strong. I am not sure how the motor really does compare, I am only basing this on the feel when I use it. But so far so good I have had this for about 6 months and still going strong!
