Cool Max Buff

I will begin by saying that I am sucker for endorsements by some of the fishing professionals on the fishing channel. I saw it advertised, and used in a variety of different ways to protect your head, and upper body from the sun - while fishing outside for hours at a time. There are more than twenty one ways to use it - but like many other users - I have a couple ways that I use it all of the time. Most often, on my neck - to keep cool in the summer.
I was impressed with the variety of ways to wear it. I don't often burn - as I am not fair skinned but I found this to be effective protection against the sun. It kept me nice and cool - I was satisfied with the results. For optimum cooling I stuck it in the cooler for a few minutes before putting it on my head. It is most important to keep your head cool while outdoors - and this is a great product to do that.
LL Bean are true experts in outdoor clothing and make so many different items like this one, to help make an outdoors persons life so comfortable. This would be great to wear out by the water, where the reflective heat can really get bothersome after two or three hours.
Sounds like a really great idea. I know once I get really hot I am miserable. Sounds like this helps. Thanks for the information.
I've seen Coolmax clothes but not a cloth. Guess this works the same way but pulling the moisture away from your body and providing UV protection?
This looks like a really neat product. When my husband is out working in the yard he gets really, really hot. I wonder if this product would help him stay a little cooler
