In January 2005 I purchased a set of Cooper Lifeliner tires for my Pontiac Grand Am. My car had 90,000 miles on it's original tires so it was past due for new tires. I chose Cooper because they make a quality product and I was able to use a family member's employee discount. The Lifeliner is a great all season tire with a high treadwear rating, so it was perfect for my long distance commuter car. Currently I have 75,000 miles on my Cooper Lifeliners and they show hardly any treadwear, I could probably get another 75,000 miles out of them. They may outlast the car! The Lifeliners are quiet at highway speeds and instill confidence when you're driving through snow and rain. The only downside is that they lack the dry pavement grip of a summer performance tire. For the average commuter the Lifeliner is just about perfect.

These sound like a great pair of all season tires. My daughter needs new tires and I will have to tell her about these. Too bad that they lack the dry pavement grip for summertime performance. That is just amazing how you have over 75,000 miles on them and they hardly show any treadwear. My daughter needs tires like these as she has had so much trouble with her current tires. Thanks for the helpful information! Nice job!
