Coopertone Colorblock By donnabc on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Coopertone came up with what I personally thought to be a wonderful product...that is until I tried it! Coppertone's Colorblock is made for kids. It is a bright purple...Barney color if you will...which is suppose to fade after rubbed in to the child.

Unfortunately, the lotion stays purple for quite some time dispite how long I rubbed it for! So, the kids were running around looking like a smurf. Second, while they loved being purple, I was not too fond of having my hands stay purple. Nor did I enjoy the purple on their clothes, towels, and anywhere else that came into contact with this stuff.

I only purchased one bottle of Colorblock and, yes, I did use the entire thing (too big of a penny pincher to throw the stuff away). But, I will never buy it again:0)

LOL, I think I would buy this product just for the Grape Ape effect.

LOL! I would love to be purple for a while. I hope you sent a note to Coppertone about perhaps reformulating this product so that it at least did not rub off on clothes and such.

I probably should have emailed coppertone, but I did not. Like I said, it SOUNDS like a good idea and WOULD be....but the staining I just can not live with.
