Copying Colored Cross Stitch Patterns

Reviewing: Canon Matte Photo Paper
Purchased at: Best Buy     Price: $9.99 USD

I'm an avid cross stitcher and I had several hard cover books full of beautiful patterns that I needed help with. The patterns were all in color codes, could not be copied, and the book was too hard to work with as it was impossible to keep a line magnet in the book, hold the book for reference in my lap and cross stitch all at the same time.I came up with putting the page I needed copied and running it through my scanner into the computer and printing it out like a picture.I purchased a package of Canon Matte Photo Paper for my inkjet printer and the pattern came out exactly like the page in my book, all the colors crisp and precise.A box of 50 sheets cost $9.99 at Best Buy and it was the "best" idea for this application. It was affordable, bright white paper for vibrant colors which is exactly what I needed.I like to think I came up with a good solution to my problem but perhaps this review will help another cross stitcher with the same problem.
