Corelle Blue Hearts Tableware Set

This tableware set has been serving us since the day we had gotten married. Since it was a gift, I cannot say whether this was one set or two puchased together. We have 6 large dinner plates, 6 dessert plates, 6 cereal or soup bowls, 6 smaller bowls that I don't really use much, and 6 cups.
Everything except for the cups has the Blue Heart pattern that you can see on the photo: pretty blue hearts on white background and a blue rim around. The pattern has not worn off anywhere during all the years we have owned this set; there are no scratches or chips, either, so I would say the set has good durability. I did break one dinner plate though. I had it soaking in the sink, and, since I could not see it under the foam, I forgot about the plate and threw in some silverware. The silverware hit the plate and broke it. I've been more careful since!
The set is microwave and dishwasher friendly. Even when we did not have a dishwasher, I found it very easy to take care of.
This was one good and long-lasting wedding gift!
My experience with corelle has been much the same... almost indestructible, unless it's been in hot water. I broke a mug this way when it slipped out of my hand after it had been soaking in the sink.
Very nice pattern and these last forever!
These are so very pretty and look near indestructible. I has a Corelle set we used for outdoor lunches for my little ones. They loved that they had such lovely patterns and that they couldn't hurt them. Everyone should have at least one set of Corelle. They are so worth it.
