Corn Skewers Saves Your Fingers!
By karlawmcdonald onHave you ever tried to eat corn on the cob and end up burning your finger tips or getting that messy but delicious butter all over your hands? If so, then there is a solution!
When I was a child I remember having these, and always meant to get my family a set, especially since my youngest son LOVES corn on the cob and he even grew his own crop this year.
They are corn skewers, they are basically finger sized handles that look like corn on the cob itself, and they have two prongs on each skewer. You press the prongs into the cob and voil! No more messy butter fingers or burnt fingers!
They had several styles and designs to chose from, but Colton wanted the corn looking ones. I found them in the kitchen utensil and tableware department and the prices ranged from $1.00 up to $4.97.
You can run them through your dishwashers or wash by hand, we keep them in the silver ware drawer, I wish I had bought them sooner! :)

These are great for kids when food is hot
I remember these from when I was a kid too. I recently won a BBQ Grill set and there were a set of four steel ones in that set and I was so excited to have a set again.
These are great! Especially for BBq's when everything gets so messy. They anchor in firmly and I love that you can easily dip your corn in melted butter without getting greasy.
I love these as much as corn on the cob!!
These are a great idea and they cost so little - thanks for the info!
