Corsair Flash Voyager By George Costanza on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

The Corsair Flash Voyager is a very efficient flash drive. It comes in different memory capacity and different speeds as well. I purchased the 16GB flash drive which is MORE than enough memory for what I use it for. It can hold up to 5,000 JPEG images at 6 megapixels, 6.5 hours of MPEG-2 video at 5Mbps - 30fps, 76 hours of MPEG-4 video at 384Kbps, and 4,000 MP3 files at 128kbps. Though its speed is much slower than the Flash Voyager GT, it still gets the job done regardless of speed. One drawback that I have with this flash drive and all other forms of external memory is the fact that a transfer of a file larger than 4GB is not possible. At the time of purchase, this flash drive was priced at $65, but with a $30 MIB and a $5 discount from Newegg, I purchased it for $30. Since the technology of flash drives has been booming, it is now priced around $50, depending on where you decide to purchase this item. Highly recommended, Corsair is known for their performance and reliability.
