Costco Great Source For Glasses By joojifish on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I needed a pair of glasses (first pair since 8th grade!), and I'd heard good things about Costco's optometry shop. So, off I went to peruse their small but decent selection of frames. (They don't have many funky and unique designs, however, if that's what you're looking for.) After about two weeks of processing, the glasses were ready for pickup. Since they're part of Costco's in-house brand, Kirkland Signature, the frames weren't very expensive. They're also of good quality, made from lightweight, shiny, dark brown titanium. The glasses feel comfortable and are flattering. The lens frames have a classic shape and are probably suitable for a variety of faces. If you want elegant, sturdy glasses for a reasonable price, the Saguaro is an excellent choice.

I don't have a Costco locally. Thanks for letting us know about a good low cost alternative though.

I wonder if they have contacts too, like Sam's club? We have a new Costco that just opened and this makes it more worthwhile for me to check out. Thanks for sharing!
