Counter-Strike

Counter-Strike is one of the largest online games and one of the oldest Steam games. Valve created the Counter-Strike series. There are three different Counter-Strike games are also Steam games: Counter-Strike 1.6 (first), Counter-Strike: Condition Zero (second), and then Counter-Strike: Source (third). 1.6 is known for being the best game out of them by most people since that's where all of your very old and good players come from.
Graphics -1.6 and Condition Zero's graphics are almost the same, but when Source came out that blew those 2 game's, graphics wise, out of the water.
Settings - All of the games keep their settings pretty much the same, but on Source it seems like players have a larger hitbox. Also, on1.6 you can wall through (shoot through) objects that you can't normally wall through on Condition Zero and Source.
I know that one time Counter-Strike was rated the most addictive online 1st person game in the United States.
