Country Dreams Honeydew Candle- Wow!
By Joan Young onThis is the most powerfully scented candle Ive ever owned, and its delightful. The cute little Mason jar is attractive too.
This candle is made by the Old Williamsburgh Candle Company of Brooklyn, New York. It comes in gardenia, vanilla, honeydew, mulberry, black cherry, apple tart, and oatmeal raisin. The honeydew scented one was given to me as a gift. One distributor is Walgreen Drugstores, where the candles retail for about $1 to $1.50 each.
Sometimes I just open the jar to take a sniff without even lighting the candle, it has such a wonderful aroma. The color of mine is a soft green, slightly lighter than the inside of a Honeydew melon.
The wick burns cleanly, and the entire room quickly fills with fragrance.
The container is a fake half-pint glass Mason jar.The design is very similar to the Mason logo, but the M is different. This appears on three sides, and measurement markings are on the fourth side. The lid is a standard metal screw-on lid in regular canning jar size and threading, so the jar could conceivably be used for jelly after the candle was gone if it were cleaned well.

I love my candles - I'll have to check this brand out!
I bet this would be really strong and last a long time on a candle warmer. It sounds really nice! :-)
Love candles and I especially love the strong smell that lasts! Thanks
I love strongly scented candles and have been spending a fortune on them. I never thought to check out Walgreens. I'm going to have to go take a look for the brand!
I practically collect scented candles there are so many in my house. Honeydew scent sounds like it would be wonderful to use too especially in the Spring.
I've seen these in the store. I like the mason jar look, it helps to keep the melted wax in when they melt down. Honeydew sounds yummy and fresh.
I love candles. I would have them everywhere if I could. Once I move into my new house I plan on buying some new ones and I will go to Walgreens and look for these. Most candles have too light of a scent but this one sounds really great.
I love candles:0) Just don't seem to be able to find a place where the kids won't knock them over :0( I bet that Honeydew smells wonderful too!
Never tried these candles before. Will look for them the next time I'm shopping for one. I've always used Yankee Candles but they are pretty expensive and they don't last as long as I would like.
Scented candles add such great ambiance for so little money. These sound very reasonable.
