Cover Girl True Blend Foundation Is A True Sham By kaylala024 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I am an avid cosemetics consumer so when i saw the attractive re-invented packaging of Cover Girl's True Blend foundation next to their boring traditional foundation bottles I was so enthralled that I bought not one, but two bottles of the True blend liquid foundation.
My skin tone is uneven, and i don't have an acne problem, but i do get the occaisonal breakout and i do struggle with blackheads. This foundation has made my skin 100 times worse. I have twice as many black heads, it dries your skin out, and can definately egg on breakouts.
I continued to use the foundation hoping my skin would adjust, but it didn't. The foundation looks great when you first apply it, but it takes a lot to cover any imperfections, and it doesn't last very long.
True blend foundation does not live up to its name, i found the selection of shades to be sparse, and anything that was close to my skin tone made me look like i had hep when applied. This foundation can be passible IF you buy a poweder to cover it that will counteract the yellow hues.

This is good information to know. I have been curious as to how well it works, but I will stay away from this now.
Thanks for the heads up. I was looking at this the other day. I have such a hard time finding foundation that looks natural. Guess I will keep looking!
Good to know. I have a hard time finding a foundation too.
I have heard both good & not so good about this. The quest for finding the perfect foundation can be a full time job can't it?!
i just saw the commercial for this and i was wondering if it really worked.
