Cover Stock inexpensive printer or scrapbook paper
By dsnygrl onI love to scrapbook but it is an expensive hobby so I am always on the lookout for products I can use as an alternative to the ones sold in the craft store. One of the items I have found that does just this is Hammermill cover stock paper which I purchased to use for printing my journaling and other items for my scrapbook pages.
Hammermill cover stock is a 65 lb. weight paper that is heavier than regular computer paper and lighter than a traditional card stock. The package I have contains 125 sheets of 8.5 X 11 cover stock paper in 5 different colors. This collection is called the brights collection and contains red, green, yellow, purple and a turquoise blue and there are 25 sheets of each color. The paper is acid free so it is safe to use for craft projects and scrapbooks, contains 20% post consumer recycled content and works for both ink jet and laser printers.
The package of 125 sheets cost me only $3.00 so at less than 3 cents a sheet, mistakes are not that big of a deal. I have gotten crisp and clear results every time I have printed on the paper so far and I am very pleased with the results.

This sounds very economical! I don't scrapbook but my kids do. I will pass along this product name for them to check out.
Great idea to use plain paper as part of scrapbooking - I'm sure it'd make good picture frames as well.
very interesting..I have used coloured papers for printing my masters project report ..These paper enhance the project report and look good
I also scrapbook and in search for inexpensive products that are of good quality, Thanks
Hammermill makes GREAT quality papers! I love Big Lots, they just closed the one by me a few months ago - and I am so depressed (they were the only store I have ever been able ti find pink toilet seats at, lol).
I use this brand too for my scrapbooking! I always load up on these!
I am a huge scrapbooker and have never seen this brand at biglots, but big lots has a lot of great scrapbooking supplies!!!
I like Hammermill papers. They are uniformly excellent, with little to no bleed through. It's great you got this at such a good price.
They do good paper! I will have to check this deal out.
This sounds like great paper to use while scrapbooking. Thanks for sharing.
