Covergirl Lashblast Length Mascara in Very Black

This isn't the mascara I normally buy, but it was on sale at Target, and I had a coupon (so it cost a little over $5.00), so I decided to try it. The claim is that it makes your lashes "up to 80% longer". Well, I don't think this mascara makes my lashes appear much longer than when they are bare. My regular mascara makes them look just as long (and fuller). This mascara is also a "no-flake" formula, and that is very true - the mascara glides on very smoothly with no flakes or clumps. The applicator wand allows for separation of each lash, so your eyelashes don't stick together. The mascara comes in 4 colors (very balck, black, black brown, and brown - it is also available in a waterproof formula), the packaging is standard, the formula is long lasting, and it contains no oils or fragrance (it does contain parabens and sulfates - no big surprise there). I really like the way this separates my lashes, but it doesn't make them very full (I don't have particularly sparse lashes, I just like a more dramatic effect). It would probably look great layered with a thickening mascara, but I don't like having to take extra steps (or spend extra time) when it comes to applying makeup. I will stick with Maybelline Full 'N Soft.
