Craftsman 19.2 Volt Cordless Drill By cnt24 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My husband received this Craftsman 19.2 Volt Cordless Drill for Christmas last year. He seemed delighted and proceeded to store away his old cordless drill. I couldn't understand what all the hoopla was about until I actually got to use it myself.

I have my own corded drill for use indoors on small "girl" jobs. I was re-doing our kitchen and I needed a drill for one job. My drill is corded so you are stuck without much mobility. I went to the garage to get an extension cord and ended up grabbing my husband's sacred Craftsman cordless instead.

The best feature of this drill is the keyless chuck. All you have to do is loosen the bit holder add your bit and tighten it in. This is a vast improvement over my old corded key chuck drill.

The next thing I noticed was the trigger allows for drill speed adjustment. You can go super slow all the way to mind boggling fast. The trigger is also very stable and you can keep your desired speed without mishaps.

Finally, I have to mention the weight of this bad boy. It's rather heavy. I had a lot of drilling to do and my arm was exhausted in the end. Well, I guess that's to be expected, as it is a heavy-duty tool.

I decided I could overcome the weight issue just to use the Craftsman 19.2 Volt Cordless Drill again. I like how simple it is to use and how easily it's controlled.
