Craftsman 38 Inch Cordless Drill Driver By Dadof2Disneyboys on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I have had my Sears Craftsman 3/8 inch Cordless Drill / Driver model number 911463 for a few years now. It is 15.6 Volts. This cordless drill is good for any shop worker, home owner, hobbiest, etc. It is fully rechargable. It comes in a durable plastic case. It comes with a set of bits for the drill. The battery pops off and on the bottom of the drill for easy charging. The drill has twenty-three different settings for a variety of speeds and strengths. It works in forward and reverse. It has a hand tightening chuck on it, so there's no keys needed to tighten the bits. There is a small compartment near the bottom of the drill to store the bits. The charger comes with the drill and is very easy to use. The drill itself is very easy to use also and works well and is reliable. I use mine often on projects around the house. I just used it the other day for drilling screws into wood while making steps for a treehouse. I recommend this drill.

Sounds like a nice Father's Day gift :)
We love craftsman tools, the quality can't be beat.
I like it that there is no chuck key to lose. Most of these have huge handles that are uncomfortable for people with small hands to use. Sounds like good quality though. Thanks!
I'm sure your kids loved the treehouse and it sounds like this drill helped make it a good one.
I need a new cordless, thank you for the information
This is the exact model my husband has. I love the key-less chuck! I have my own "ladies" corded drill for my little jobs, but I'm constantly grabbing his drill instead.
Should have read that before I hit submit...Such is life.
I love the idea of a cordless drill, and this one sounds like a good bet. Thanks for sharing your experience with this product!
