We purchased these Craftsman Jack Stands for added security while working under our vehicles. Searching the Sears site, I could not find this exact set but they have several different varieties available.

Our set is very heavy and sturdy. Once you get the ratchet system locked under your vehicle you will find security in knowing you car is not going to topple down on you.

The braces that hold your vehicle up are very thick and molded to cup an axle or jack notch well. There is no need to worry about slip. The 4-leg pedestal is solid too.

These jack stands will hold your car up to 20 inches off the ground. Even at the highest setting there is no wobble or loss of strength. Once you have your vehicle jacked up, you position the jack stands underneath, adjust the height, and lower your car onto them.

The only issue I have with these stands is getting the ratchet to release. My husband does not have an issue with this, just me.

These Craftsman Jack Stands have served us well. We have used them for our vehicles and doing minor repairs on our boat trailers. If you're in the market for a set of jack stands, you should give Craftsman a look.
