I was so mad when I had to replace my weed eater two weeks ago.Maybe it was a blessing in disguise that it died.Since it did, I had to shop around and I found this one.

My old one was an electric one and I was sick of dragging the extension cord around when I used it.This Craftsman one is gas powered. It is a 2 cycle motor so you do have to mix oil with gas and then put it in.Sears sells the oil in a container that is the right amount for 1 gallon of gas.I just got a 1 gallon gas container and I mix it in there before putting it into the weed eater.

The string for this is thick so it does areally good job.The nicest thing is that you don't have to wind it on a spool. You just cut of an 18 inch piece and tread it in the holes. It is so easy!It is more expensive string than the regular kind, but well worth it.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new weed eater. The ease of use is worth the price.

I love the idea of no cords. I am seriously considering buying a new one because I hate dragging the cord around. Thanks

We are big fans of Craftsman tools and my ex always insisted that every tool we purchased was to be Craftsman.

Tis is the heavy duty weed eater. It works very well on areas that have tough weedy infestations. I love this particular model because it does the job very well and helps cut back on the re-emergence of these pesky plants.
