Cranium Board Game
By Kakoa onI have played Cranium at a few different people's houses and have to say it is one of my favorite board games! It's actually on my Christmas list this year. The original version of Cranium is a game for up to four teams of adults. You can have as many people on your team as you want, but you have to at least have 2 on each team. This game is listed for adults and teens, but I think it would be a very challenging game for young teens. I have a hard enough time figuring out some of the clues myself!
The goal of Cranium is to be the first team to get around the board, into the center, and be the first to collect one card from each category. This is done by completing challenges and answering questions along the way. There are four categories to master which are spelling, drawing and playdough creations, acting out motions or sounds, and answering quiz questions. This game really does incorporate all the different parts of your cranium!
I personally love playing this game because it can get really wild! When you get into the acting out and competing against the other teams in a race, it can be hilarious! It's great to work in teams because some people are good at only certain categories. This is where your teammates come in handy. I love the creative hands-on categories, but am not too good at the spelling and quiz ones.
Even after playing a full game (which usually takes about an hour) I always want to play again. I just can't get enough of this game. One this I will warn is that the playdough included can get moldy if you don't close the lid tight enough.

Cranium is so much fun! We own several other games from this company that are just as fun - Cadoo and Jam Pack Jam are both great!
This game is one of our favorites! It never gets boring. Molding stuff with the clay is the best, and I love when people have to draw with their eyes closed. There are a lot of laughs when we play this!
Never heard of this - but it certainly does sound like fun and I'll be sure to check this out as soon as possible. ^_^
I have this game and have to say I love it!
i love this game. we have had ours long enough that the clay dried up, but we just use my daughters play doh now. :D
Gosh, I am ashamed. I bought this game probably two years ago and have yet to open it. We need to make sure and play it. Especially with friends coming over the holiday parties. Thanks for the review.
