Crayola color wonder markers and paper set are great for little hands that want to color, without all of the expected mess that comes with using markers. The markers are clear, but when drawn on their special paper you will see the colors come alive in the paper. I love to draw with my son-he is only 16 months old and wants to color like his big sister. However, this takes away all the mess without him missing out on sister time. I love the no mess aspect-however the only warning I would have would be that the reaction time is not quite as fast as a normal marker or crayon-so if your little one is impatient, they do have to wait to see the results. But a great toy overall and fun to let little ones in on the coloring action with as little mess as possible. A great gift for a 1 year old that they will love!
