Crayola Crayons color best!
By xshellyx onBefore I had kids, I thought that a crayon was a crayon. This is not the case.My son has had several brands of crayons, including some from dollar stores and some from retail stores and we keep going back to Crayola.
The cheaper crayons seem to be harder and color lighter or leave clumps where you have colored.Crayola brand crayons leave a vibrant color in their path, smooth and even with no clumps.Yes, they might cost more than the other brands but in this case you do get what you pay for. It's true, most kids might not care one bit about the quality of their crayons, but when I color with him it does bother me.
Sure, they break just as easily... and my daughter can eat them just as easily... but for their intended use of coloring, Crayola is the best!It might seem silly to write a review on such a basic item, but I just had to share my delight with this brand.

Crayola is the best. About eating these...iInever did that, but once, I got one stuck in my nose and had to go to the doctor. I will never forget( I was 5)
You are right a crayon is not just a crayon. I love crayola crayons!
Crayola crayons are the best! I love the triangle shaped ones- they are washable. When my toddler decides the wall will make a nice canvas, the marks wipe right of with a wet paper towel or a baby wipe. It's great!
Crayola crayons are awesome. I wouldn't buy anything else for my grandkids!
Boy you are right, all crayons are not created equal...crayola are the best!
I never thought of it that way, but Crayola's are very smooth writing, we love them too!
I so have to agree, the color is amazing an less breakage.
I've always agreed. No one, absolutely no one else has managed to match their formula for good smooth, bright color transfer.
These have always been the crayons I have always purchased for kids. My own kids used nothing else, and I am sure these will be the ones my grandson will use.
It is amazing at how much better Crayola is over its competitors! I am at the point where I won't buy any other crayons for my DS. If we get a cheaper crayon, it goes in the diaper bag for outings - that way I don't care if they get lost or left behind somewhere.
