Crayola Pipsqueaks

When I saw this product at Target I thought it was the most cutest thing. It was a tower of little markers! And the best part was that it was from a respected kid-friendly high quality brand - Crayola. For 15 dollars I figured 50 little markers was a great deal.

I am a little kid at heart, and at the time of this purchase I was working at an elementary school with Kindergarten kids. I figured that these markers would be a nice treat.

When I opened the tower all the markers were neatly placed in the bin and I really was amused - until I tried to write with the markers. I noticed that the construction of the markers and caps did not match up half the time, causing most of the markers to be dried out. This was a large disappointment because 20 out of 50 markers were dried and did not produce the bright bold colors Crayola usually delivers. My navy blue became a washed out grey-blue. Most of the markers were so dried out that even the tips of the markers were faded.

I have not bothered to return the markers (because well, they are just markers) but I am very disappointed in this purchase.

Be warned that it is not just the tower markers that have this drying problem, my co-workers bought a few smaller packs for the children and most of the markers in there were dried as well.
