I thought balls and catnip mice were the best when it comes to cat toys; it turns out I was quite mistaken. There is another thing cats are fascinated with, and it is called Crazy Spinners. These are colored plastic pinwheels a little over 1 inch wide. They work best on a smooth surface, like kitchen floor, for example. They spin and slide at the slightest touch, making my cats go bananas. They hit, chase, bite, and grab these things to no end. One pack contains 4 spinners; I wish there were more, as my cats tend to chase them under furniture very fast - and guess who has to fish them out?? Except for that, it's an excellent cat toy. If you have a kitty who could use some physical activity, get a pack of crazy spinners. They will be a lot of fun for you both.
